This new iconic development located at 1 Shelly Street adds a very compelling reason to be placed in Sydney's Western Corridor. One Shelley Street, which comprises 33,000sqm of Net Lettable Area (NLA) across 11 storeys, will be wholly occupied by Macquarie Bank and will accommodate approximately 3,000 workers. The floor plates range from approximately 1,950sqm to 3,650sqm.
As far as iconic buildings are concerned, One Shelley Street is set to become one of the most recognisable commercial premises in Sydney. The development by Brookfield Multiplex consists of 33,000 square metres of office space over 11 storeys and feature a unique 'diagrid' support façade. Upon completion in mid 2009, One Shelley Street was the only diagrid constructed building in Sydney.
The development includes retail at street level and five basement levels including; a bus interchange, car parking for tenants and the public. In addition a range of innovative environmentally sustainable development initiatives including passive chilled beams and harbour water for heat rejection, have been incorporated into the building's design which has achieve an industry benchmark 6 Star Green Star rating and be a showpiece for environmental sustainability for the future.
The King Street Wharf precinct (consisting of other new developments such as; Amex and KPMG) with over 20,000 people working in the area from 2009 and is now the gateway to the East Darling harbour precinct.

This Grade 'A Plus' office tower at King Street Wharf bounded by Sussex, Erskine and Shelley Street was purpose designed, constructed and commissioned on the basis of a commitment by a major tenant to the building.
The KPMG Tower is an example of successful environmentally sustainable architecture. The building incorporates commercial office for the KPMG premises with retail and exhibition spaces on ground floor. Building services were individually designed and selected to ensure an optimum level of quality and comfort for its occupants. Passive solar design integrates different shading profiles to reflect different expected heat loads to various parts of the building.
The first building in Sydney to achieve a 5.0 Star AGBR rating, the design addresses architectural and urban development requirements with environmentally sustainable design issues of thermal control, ventilation, acoustics, natural and artificial lighting.
All works were completed prior to KPMG occupancy in December 2003, in advance of a pre-determined date set two years previously. The project was a recipient of the 2004 MBA Excellence in Construction Award for Commercial Buildings.

This PCA 'A' Grade11 storey commercial tower, purpose-designed for tenant American Express, is located on a prime CBD site in the highly sought after King Street Wharf Precinct. All of the American Express team, with the exception of their support call centre, has now moved to their new home in Sydney from their old Liverpool Street offices.
Including both corporate and individual travel arms, the team has taken up the entire building at 12 Shelley Street, with street access to both Shelley and Sussex streets.
Incorporating a NLA of 14,978m2 of space, the new 11-storey offices, with their distinct orange facade, is capable of accommodating over 1,500 people.
